Before Your First Appointment

Booking
You can book online, by phone, or in person. If you’re unsure which service is right for you, our reception team will be happy to guide you.

Paperwork
We’ll send you a short intake form to complete in advance. This gives us important information about your health history, current concerns, and treatment goals.

Insurance Details
If you have extended health benefits, bring your insurance card and photo ID so we can arrange direct billing where available.

Your First Visit

Your initial appointment will be 45–60 minutes, allowing time for:

Comprehensive Assessment

A licensed physiotherapist will take a detailed history of your symptoms, lifestyle, and relevant medical background. A physical assessment will be performed to evaluate posture, movement, strength, flexibility, and any areas of pain or restriction.

Clear Diagnosis & Plan

Your physiotherapist will explain their findings in plain language, including the likely cause of your symptoms. Together, you’ll develop a personalized treatment plan with clear goals—whether it’s returning to work, playing sports, or simply moving without pain.

Your First Treatment

Whenever possible, treatment will begin during your first session. This may include manual therapy, targeted exercises, education, or other evidence-based techniques suited to your condition.

Follow-Up Appointments

Most follow-up sessions last 30 minutes and build on your progress from previous visits.

Your plan will be adjusted as you improve, ensuring you’re always working toward your goals.

You’ll receive exercises and self-care tips to continue your recovery at home.

What to Bring

Comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement (e.g., shorts for knee injuries, tank top for shoulder issues).

Your extended health benefits card and photo ID if using direct billing.

Any relevant medical reports, imaging results, or doctor’s referral (if available).
